You get a new Google Pixel with GrapheneOS, installed by us with the bootloader locked again. Banking and ID apps: we tell you up front whether yours work. If something gets stuck later, you message us. From €659, with a VAT invoice and 2-year warranty.
What we do is the same on every model. We install GrapheneOS and lock the bootloader again, with the GrapheneOS key instead of Google's. After that you can keep messaging us. You only choose the camera and how long the phone gets updates.

True, the phone is the same. With us you pay for the setup and for what comes after it. We install GrapheneOS and lock the bootloader again with the GrapheneOS key, so the phone checks at every start that the system hasn't been modified. We also check that ourselves before shipping. You can ask questions on WhatsApp, Signal or email for as long as you own the phone, with an answer within one working day, and in the first year we give you free hands-on help with the phone itself once, for example when you move over from your old phone. If something gets stuck later, such as a banking app after an update, you message a person in the Netherlands. You get a VAT invoice from a company registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, and a 2-year warranty on the phone and on the installation. You can also install it yourself, which costs nothing; the comparison page explains when that's the better choice.
Most do, and we tell you which ones don't. WhatsApp, Signal and Google Maps work, and so do most banking and ID apps; in the Netherlands, for example, DigiD, ING, ABN AMRO, Rabobank, bunq, SNS, ASN, Knab, iDEAL, Tikkie and Buienradar. Revolut doesn't work, and neither does contactless payment with your phone (your card does). Not sure about one app? Send me the name, I'll test it on a phone and email you the answer within one working day. See the list per app
As a rule, yes. Banking and ID apps run through sandboxed Google Play. In the Netherlands, DigiD works including the NFC ID check, and Logius has not required Google certification since September 2025. Very occasionally a banking app acts up for a day after an update, until the next update fixes it; with ABN AMRO that happens now and then. If it happens to you, we sort it out together on WhatsApp. Explained per bank
Google gives every model 7 years of OS and security updates, counted from when it went on sale in the US. Google supplies the patches, GrapheneOS usually passes them on within two days, and your phone installs them itself in the background. The Pixel 10a gets updates until March 2033, the Pixel 9a until April 2032. The end date is listed with every model.
A 2-year warranty on the phone and on our installation, and 14 days to change your mind, even if you've already unpacked the phone. To withdraw, click Withdraw from contract here at the bottom of any page, or message or email us. You send the phone back to our returns address in Baarn and pay the return shipping yourself. You get your money back within 14 days. Our terms are on one page, in plain English.
To be honest: you give up contactless payment with your phone. In return you get a phone that tells nobody where you are.

Three questions, one recommendation. Privacy is the same on every model, so you can't choose wrong.
Choose your phone, choose whether we put your apps on it for you, and pay online. GrapheneOS is always included in the price. We only ask for your email address at checkout.

Do you know what your phone is doing right now, in your pocket? Every few minutes it tells Google where you are and what you opened. A Snowden Phone can't do that, because the Google layer isn't there. You won't notice a thing, except that the ads stop following you around.

Who's behind it
Snowden Phone is not an anonymous dropshipper. Behind every phone is one small Dutch workshop that takes personal responsibility for what it delivers.
We build the phone we want to carry ourselves: degoogled, hardened and honestly explained. No promises we can't keep, and no hidden business model built on your data. You're buying a phone, not becoming the product.
