Three questions everyone asks us
Will my apps work?
Most do, and we tell you which ones don't. WhatsApp, Signal and Google Maps work, and so do most banking and ID apps; in the Netherlands, for example, DigiD, ING, ABN AMRO, Rabobank, bunq, SNS, ASN, Knab, iDEAL, Tikkie and Buienradar. Revolut doesn't work, and neither does contactless payment with your phone (your card does). Not sure about one app? Send me the name, I'll test it on a phone and email you the answer within one working day. See the list per app
Do my banking and ID apps keep working after an update?
As a rule, yes. Banking and ID apps run through sandboxed Google Play. In the Netherlands, DigiD works including the NFC ID check, and Logius has not required Google certification since September 2025. Very occasionally a banking app acts up for a day after an update, until the next update fixes it; with ABN AMRO that happens now and then. If it happens to you, we sort it out together on WhatsApp. Explained per bank
What if something breaks, or I change my mind?
A 2-year warranty on the phone and on our installation, and 14 days to change your mind, even if you've already unpacked the phone. To withdraw, click Withdraw from contract here at the bottom of any page, or message or email us. You send the phone back to our returns address in Baarn and pay the return shipping yourself. You get your money back within 14 days. Our terms are on one page, in plain English.
Do my banking and ID apps work on the Pixel 9a?
App compatibility is the same on every model; it depends on GrapheneOS, not on the hardware. Banking and government ID apps run through sandboxed Google Play, and we tell you up front whether yours work. If you choose the €29.99 installation option, we test the apps you pick before delivery. How is it different from the Pixel 9?
The Pixel 9 has a better camera and more RAM. For everything else, from the chip to the screen size to security, the 9a is on the same level. We no longer supply the Pixel 9.
How soon will the Pixel 9a arrive?
We configure every phone by hand. We set it up and ship it within 3 to 5 working days, in plain packaging; delivery time depends on your country. Free insured shipping to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. €34.95 to Austria, Czechia, Sweden and Finland.
